Hotel Indigo Bordeaux Centre Chartrons by IHG à Le tourisme sur la Côte Atlantique

We've been at this hotel for a week. The rooms are large and comfortable, with Lavazza coffee machine and water boiler. The common areas are elegant and smart. We included breakfast and can say that it's been a true pleasure: the quality of food is amazing and the location, at the rooftop floor with an amazing view on the Garonne River is simply fantastic. The position of the hotel, in Chartron, makes it easy to go downtown and to La Citè du Vin. All in all aur stay was perfect and we really enjoyed the city of Bordeaux!

Une expérience absolument inadmissible dans cet hôtel. L’hôtel a refusé de me fournir ma facture sur place, en m’indiquant que celle-ci devait être délivrée par Booking. Depuis, c’est un véritable parcours du combattant pour simplement obtenir un document pourtant essentiel. Lorsque j’appelle le numéro de l’hôtel, je tombe sur une plateforme téléphonique où la communication est extrêmement compliquée et où il est impossible d’être mis en relation avec un responsable de l’établissement. Et lorsque, par miracle, j’arrive à joindre directement l’accueil, la qualité de la ligne est tellement mauvaise qu’il est quasiment impossible de communiquer correctement. Séjour très agréable avec mon fils. Le personnel est adorable et au petit soin de nos moindres besoins. La chambre était spacieuse, cosy et confortable. Le petit déjeuner est varié et le prendre sur le rooftop est vraiment tres agréable

The front desk pe personnel are so helpful. They made our stay delightful and well informed. We were also impressed by our cleaning staff. They made our rooms fresh everyday.

I am extremely disappointed with booking service at the Indigo hotel. I made a non-refundable reservation at the hotel for two nights in September which also happens to be my birthday. Unfortunately our flight has been cancelled by the airline and we cannot arrive to France on this date. Therefore I sent a polite e-mail asking the hotel to consider a partial refund or having a chance to reschedule our stay, or anything really that would help me in this unpleasant situation. I am aware that I made a non-refundable booking, but taking into consideration it is an unusual situation, and that it is still 4 months to go and surely someone will book it in no time, I would expect a little more friendly customer service. A 30-year-old hotel disguised as “new” The marketing for Hotel Indigo Bordeaux is deeply misleading. You are left with the impression that this is a new boutique hotel. It isn’t. It is essentially the old Mercure with a cosmetic makeover. The public areas have been redesigned, but the guest rooms are fundamentally the same old rooms with fresh paint, new wallpaper and decorative accessories. The bathrooms appear to be original, the built-in wardrobes are old, and many details throughout the property clearly show its age. The corridors are perhaps the best example. The walls are full of poorly repaired damage that has simply been painted over, doors are chipped, woodwork is worn, and there are signs of decades of use everywhere. Calling this a “new” hotel is marketing rather than reality.…

ein schönes Hotel in hervorragender Lage: Innenstadt, Promenade, Bunker, Weinmuseum - alles zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Genial fand ich die rooftop Bar, sowohl für einen Absacker am Abend als auch das Frühstück am Morgen

Great location but that aside, I wouldn’t come back. It didn’t feel like a 4 star hotel and I can not stand rooms that have an inward facing window, I look out on a conference centre, felt dreary and claustrophobic. (To add - I specifically asked to not have one those rooms) Service for drinks on the rooftop was incredibly slow - at least 20 mins of sitting there until I had a drink in my hand, and we had to go fetch our own water for the table.

Great location. Staff is super friendly and was very helpful in helping us navigate the city. Breakfast was amazing! Rooms have a nice size and are comfortable. We will definitely come back and stay in this hotel again.

Rooms very clean but a bit dated. Service/staff very good. Property very clean and well maintained, just s bit dated and 90's nostalgia vibe.

Une nouvelle fois, très belle expérience dans cet hôtel au coeur des Chartrons, idéalement placé avec tram a proximité. Chambre bien décorée avec tout le confort nécessaire et très bien isolée. Le personnel de l'hôtel est au petit soin, autant en amont que pendant le séjour, bravo! Et bien sûr un restaurant (également petit dej) en rooftop avec une sacrée vue sur Bordeaux, nous avons pu y dîner avec un excellent menu spécifique pour le feu d'artifice. Merci a toute l'équipe pour ce beau moment a deux que nous avons pu passer.

J’ai passé un excellent séjour en couple dans cet hôtel ! Tout était parfait du début à la fin. Le personnel est extrêmement accueillant, souriant et toujours prêt à aider. La chambre était très propre, confortable et bien équipée. L’emplacement est idéal, proche de tout, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Le petit-déjeuner était varié et délicieux, avec des produits de qualité. Je recommande cet hôtel les yeux fermés et j’y reviendrai avec grand plaisir ! Merci pour cette superbe expérience.

Very nice hotel and staff were very attentive and friendly. Room was great with a nice big comfy bed. Coffee pod machine and kettle in the room along with a small fridge. Big television on the wall with many channels to choose from. Room was tastefully decorated and had lots of cupboard space. Linen and towels are of good quality but on check in was asked if we would forgo room cleaning as we were a 3 night stay in return a donation would be made to a cause (forget exactly the cause 🤔) but we asked for fresh towels on our 2nd day of stay...didn't happen. I asked the ladies servicing the other rooms for a couple of towels and some toilet paper which they obliged. Anyway something to consider for your short stay (not a biggie). Overall 8/10 I'd say for Hotel Indigo Bordeaux, I was pleasant…

Excellent séjour, très bon accueil, chambre, confortable et joliment décoré! Super, petit-déj’ avec beaucoup de choix, très belle vue.

Very nice hotel near water. Great street vendor event Sunday, walking distance to cruise port. Great breakfast as well, especially the bread.

Un lieu qui prête à la détente avec une vue magnifique. Un personnel jeune mais professionnel. Une omelette digne d’un palace au petit déjeuner 🥞! Vraiement un bel établissement du groupe IHG ! Juste une clim un peu bruyante (chambre 453)
