Je n'ai pas moi-même fait l'expérience de l'hôtel mais j'ai offert une nuit à des membres de ma famille. J'ai été en contact avec l'hôtel pour organiser cette surprise et le service est impeccable. Très bon accueil, écoute, efficacité et très bon relationnel et je trouve que c'est important de le dire. Par ailleurs ma famille a été ravie du séjour.
Un bel hôtel très bien rénové même si la verrière est à refaire et que le serveur nous indique que l’hôtel va refermer 5 mois. De beaux espaces et petit déjeuner parfait ! Merci à Camille pour votre super accueil et prise en charge. Cependant pas foncièrement un 5 étoiles dans le service. Entendre souffler le serveur lors de la prise de commande au bar et injurier un collègue au téléphone pas vraiment adapté. Dommage une expérience mitigée

Quisimos cambiar las fechas por motivo de los incendios con bastante antelación, incluso si había que pagar más y no atendieron nuestra petición. Iremos a Burdeos, pero no a vuestro hotel.
Chers clients, Nous vous remercions d'avoir pris le temps de nous avoir écrit et comprenons votre frustration lié à la situation. Nous aimerions cependant clarifier la situation. Votre réservation était non annulable et non modifiable. Suite aux événements exceptionnels qui sont survenus dans la région, nous avons bien sûr mis en place des conditions adéquates. L'État français et la Préfecture ont demandé de rester vigilants et d'éviter de voyager dans la région jusqu'au 1er août 2026. Ces consignes ont finalement été levées à cette date, dû à l'amélioration de la situation. Votre réservation étant prévue du 7 au 9 août, le danger lié aux incendies n'était plus présent à cette période et les fumées s'étaient également dissipées depuis plusieurs jours. Superbe expérience à l’occasion de notre anniversaire de mariage. Tout est au rendez-vous : chambre, cadre, gentillesse et disponibilité de l’équipe. Nous avons pris un verre au bar (mention spéciale où tous les cocktails classiques sont disponibles à la demande en + des cocktails signatures de la Maison!) puis dîné au restaurant de l’hôtel, Madame B, un moment délicieux aussi bien dans l’assiette que dans le service. Merci au chef et à son équipe!

What a fantastic hotel! I was travelling with my ageing father and my sister. We had two adjoining rooms in this hotel. The hotel looks pretty new and the designs are beautiful; the rooms are great, with good materials and were spotless. The location of the hotel is also great, on the west end of a main (pedestrian only) street that threads through the very centre of the old district, all the way to the waterfront on the east side. The walk (20-25 minutes in total, from the hotel to the waterfront) was so nice that we did it three times during our 1.5-day stay in Bordeaux. The city of Bordeaux was super nice and fun. I wished we had stayed longer. We will be returning to this hotel next time. Highly recommend it.

Non e' esattamente un 5 lusso, quanto un quattro +, ma rispetto ai tanti hotel in zona, sicuramente uno dei migliori. Posizione eccellente, permette di raggiungere a piedi il centro della citta, personale impeccabile. Colazione da migliorare in termini scelta.

The room and location was standard - I wouldn’t give it a 5 star but definitely a strong 4 star. Facilities were okay & everything was clean and accessible which is what we needed for a short stay. Again, it was just standard for the price. Unfortunately the bar staff particularly the lady was very unkind and spoke badly in front of me in French thinking I could not understand. I did not act upon her comments. Unfortunately, she rolled her eyes a couple of times at us when we passed her. Not sure why - maybe she had a bad day that day? In any case, best not to take it out on guests who were being respectful. Overall I wouldn’t choose this hotel again unfortunately.
TL;DR: Overall, despite the good location and attractive design, the service, noise issues, and unprofessional attitude made this a very unpleasant experience. Our experience was nowhere near 5-star level. The biggest issue was the attitude of Indira at reception. We parked the car ourselves in the parking garage and did not require valet service, yet she insisted that we leave our car keys at reception. For legal and personal reasons, we were not comfortable doing so. She repeatedly referred to “hotel policy,” despite the fact that this requirement was mentioned nowhere on the website, Booking.com, or during our communication when reserving the parking. Minus 5 service I booked a stay at this hotel June 13-18 on Hotels.com with the higher pay-at-the hotel rate a few weeks ago for a conference. I received a 15% discount for the conference. I logged into Hotels.com and was surprised my reservation was cancelled. According to Hotels.com the hotel cancelled it. When I inquired why they said the hotel tried to do a pre authorization on my visa and it was declined. Well, yes - given the booking was pay at hotel. My card was on hold for a week & then it cleared off. Was it my visa or the hotel that did this? I was told they would fix this but the idea of the hotel not honouring my reservation unnerved me. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to your front desk team in Bordeaux. On May 24th at 16:40, we arrived at your hotel extremely tired and stressed. Due to the great success of your rugby team (congratulations!), the entire city was celebrating. We were unable to leave the old town of Bordeaux, and we had very little time left before our flight. The tram lines to the airport were not operating, no taxis were available, and Uber was not accepting rides. We were almost certain that we would miss our flight and lose our onward connections. L’hôtel est parfaitement situé, à 5min du centre ville. À peine rentré dans l’hôtel vous êtes plongés dans un univers feutré, chaleureux. Le staff vous accueil avec le sourire, vous vous sentez attendu et bienvenu. Que ce soit au bar, au restaurant, dans les espaces de réunions, au fitness, dans les chambres, tout est pensé pour votre confort. Si le diable est dans les détails alors il est partout au Burdigala. Vous pouvez venir y travaillez, boire un verre, vous restaurer ou y loger, dans une atmosphère élégante et conviviale. Merci à Jean-Baptiste de m’avoir fait découvrir ce petit bijou.

A great choice to stay for a few days in the center of Bordeaux. Staff were attentive and helpful, rooms were bigger than usual in France.

Perfecto! Buena ubicación, limpieza y amabilidad en el personal. La única pega es que quisimos cenar en el restaurante del hotel y al llegar nos dijeron que estaba todo reservado. Así que no pudimos probarlo.
